Alberto A. Adame, age 67, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007. Alberto retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, following a very successful military career in which he distinguished himself by receiving many decorations and honors, including a Distinguished Flying Cross, a Bronze Star Medal, a Meritorious Service Medal, 19 Air Medals, an Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and a Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, among others. Alberto served his country proudly as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army for 20 years. His brother, Alvaro Adame, passed away the same day in Kingsville, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Adame of Galveston, TX; son, Alberto A. Jeb Adame, Jr. and wife, Erin and their daughter, Evelyn of Providence, RI; daughters: Allyson Adame of Austin, TX, Monica and Danielle Adame of Galveston, TX and Laurie Reyes and her children, Lacy, Strick and Daniel of Waynoka, OK; brother, Amando Adame, Jr. of Kingsville, TX; sister, Mary Jane England of Houston, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 1st from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough in San Antonio, TX.
