More detail on this person: Gerald L. Buxton, Jr. Obituary Gerald L. Buxton Jr., 79, of Royal, Arkansas, passed away December 3, 2017. He was born August 20, 1938, in South Bend, Indiana, to Gerald and Dorothy (Hromeck) Buxton. Jerry served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and was a member of the Masons. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Harp. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Sandra J. Buxton; son, Gerald L. Buxton III (Bobbie), daughter, Terri Taylor; step-son, Dwayne E. Garrett (Wei); step-daughter, Dana M. Garrett; brother, Earnest Edward Buxton (Donna); grandchildren, Katherine Garrett, Jeremiah Buxton, Amber Buxton; great-grandchild, LilliAna Buxton. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of Jerry's life immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Peak Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice.
