More detail on this person: BOWEN, Thomas G. born in Decatur, GA April 23, 1936, passed away in Tucson on June 21, 2007. He graduated from the first class at the United Sates Air Force Academy in 1959 with a B.S. in Military Science. He has resided in Tucson, after retirement in 1985 from the Air Force, as a Colonel and a flight test pilot with 27 years of military service. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Sheilah. He is also survived by his sister Janelle Leonard of Lexington, GA and brother Reese Bowen of Orlando, FL. His three daughters, Deborah Spicer of Littleton, CO, Lynn Green of New Wales, PA, and Kelly Hanson of Tucson also mourn his death. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis de Sales, 1375 S. Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ on June 27 with a visitation at 1000 a.m. and a memorial Mass as 1100 a.m. He will be buried at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO with military honors. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the UA Cancer Research Center. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
