More detail on this person: S-62 crash in the peruvian Amazon Basin. Robert L Curnow, Jr., died on October 19, 1973. The crash in the Amazon Basin occurred on, or slightly before, that date in 1973. I was Bob's best man at his wedding and long time college roommate. I recently visited the Tay Ninh area, where he flew during the Vietnam War.
