More detail on this person: Frank Adelbert Frost, 82 of White Oak, South Carolina Frank Adelbert Frost Herald-Journal (Spartanburg, SC) - Sunday, September 28, 2008 SPARTANBURG, SC-- Frank Adelbert Frost, 82, of 270 Fairforest Road, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at White Oak Manor. Born December 12, 1925 in White River, SD, he was the son of the late Cyril Miley and Elizabeth Irene Hall Frost. He retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years of service, having served in World War II and the Vietnam War where he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star. Surviving family members include his wife of 55 years, Joan Crowley Frost; four sons, Keith Frost of Spartanburg, Michael Frost of Carlsbad, CA, Eugene Frost (Kathy) of Simpsonville and Kevin Frost (Peggy) of Corpus Christi, TX; two sisters, Wenona Wise of Glen Ellyn, IL and Bonnie Belle Wooley of Louisville, CO; a half-sister, Lola Reightler of Baltimore, MD; a step-brother, Archie Seger of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren, Shannon Bedoian, Megan, Crystal, Patrick, and Elizabeth Frost, Scott, Adam, and Elliott Smith; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Anna Bedoian. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 29, 2008 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, conducted by Captain Bret McElroy. The family will receive friends following the service at the Chapel. Burial will be in Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, PO Drawer 2909, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home.
