More detail on this person: Dover "Dennis" Jeffery Jr., 67, of Wentzville, Mo., formerly of Wyanet, died at 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Born Aug. 5, 1948, in Princeton to Dover Dennis and Anna L. (Cass) Jeffery, he married Ricki Rae Merkley Jan. 21, 1972, in Wyanet. She survives. He was a 1966 graduate of Wyanet High School. He was the owner and operator of Jeffery Associates. He was a member of Wyanet VFW Post 6634 and Lake of Ozarks American Legion, and was a former Wyanet Grade School Board member. He served in the U.S. Army as a CW2 helicopter pilot during Vietnam. Also surviving are two sons, Brandon Jeffery of Dixon and Jeff Nord of Princeton; one daughter, Angie (Joe) Pierce of Burlington, Wis.; three brothers, Eugene (Linda) Jeffery of Wyanet, David L. Jeffery of Florida and James Jeffery of Wyanet; one sister, Mary (Keith) Lucas of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Jackie Pierce, Ryan Pierce, Jacob Nord, Nickolas Nord, Abby Nord, Jackson Jeffery and Jameson Jeffery; and two great-grandchildren, Kyla Kieffer and Ava Zaksheske. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dover Dennis Jeffery and Anna L. Jeffery Sapp. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet with the Rev. Scott Schmidt officiating. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery with military rites conducted by Wyanet VFW Post 6634. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Wyanet VFW Post 6634 and Wyanet VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
