More detail on this person: William King January 14, 1931 - August 4, 2015 Lt. Col. William King, 84, resident of Winston-Salem peacefully passed away on August 4, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on January 14, 1931 in Gary, Indiana. Bill retired as an Army aviator achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a veteran of the Korean War and two tours in Viet Nam. He greatly enjoyed art and the outdoors. Bill King is survived by his loving wife, Nazlou King of 42 years; David W. King, son and wife, Debbie of Fayetteville, Georgia; Scott W. King, son and wife, Susan of Atlanta, Georgia; Devin Scott King, grandson, wife, Melissa and great grandson, Vincent Ryan of Buford, Georgia; and Derek Ryan King, grandson of Atlanta, Georgia. Bill King will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and will be sorely missed.
