More detail on this person: Robert E. (Bob) McKelvey born July 29, 1942 in Winchester, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2011 in Palestine, Texas, after a courageous battle with a malignant brain tumor.... In Vietnam, Captain Robert E. McKelvey joined the 48th Assault Helicopter Company. He served as Flight insturctor, Pilot and Company Commander. He flew hundreds of rescue missions and herbicidal warfare missions, spraying the dense jungle with Agent Orange to defoliate forested and rural land depriving the guerrillas of cover and food supply.
