More detail on this person: Harold Elmer Or Hal Mishler, 63 Harold Elmer Mishler Daily Herald (Provo, UT) - Tuesday, March 11, 2008 Harold "Hal" Elmer Mishler "Papa" Harold "Hal" Elmer Mishler, age 63, of Orem, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008, due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Hal was born July 12, 1944 in Arkansas, to Daniel Mishler and Leona Beide Mishler. Hal served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and retired as a Major in 1984. After retirement he worked at Wordperfect and Novell. Hal was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities. He enjoyed music and the outdoors. His greatest joy was being "Papa" to all of his grandchildren. He is survived by Jill Mishler, Stacey (Jerry) Jensen, Chris (Sheri) Mishler, Amy (Dennis) Nace, Laurie (Mac) Fillingim, Tammie Cody, ten grandchildren, as well as his brother, Larry, and two sisters, Betty Jo and Mona. He was preceded in by death by his son, Ben, and his mother and father. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Timpview 9th Ward Chapel, 1050 North 600 West, Orem. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, and Wednesday morning, one hour prior to the service at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery with Military Rites provided by VFW District #4.
