More detail on this person: MICK McCANN Mick McCann, 68, of Phillipsburg passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born August 20, 1947 in Somerville he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Lettang) McCann. He and his wife, the former Linda Baugher, were married in 1970. He was retired from the Army after serving for more than 19 years. Mick was active in the NY and NJ Chapters of the First Calvary; and the National First Cavalry Division Assocition. He attended Scranton University for 2 years and was a graduate of Rutgers University. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Bethlehem. In addition to his loving wife, Linda, he is survived by a sister Diane Bissett and husband, Jeffrey of Alpha; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Jason, Erica and husband, Sal, Aimee and husband, Joe, Andrew and wife, Casey, Tom and wife, Jessica, Lauren and spouse, Courtney, Heather and husband, Anthony, Beth and husband Michael; and 17 great nieces and great-nephews. A sister, Colleen, died earlier. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Philipsburg, NJ. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted at www.devlinfh.com.
