More detail on this person: CW4 (Ret) Thomas "Tom" R. Rudolph, 85, passed away on April 6, 2026. Tom was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, to the late Joseph and Eunice Rudolph. He lived a life marked by faithful service, both to his country and to those he loved. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on April 14, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Rev. Zachary Greenwell officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Tom dedicated much of his life to serving his country in the United States Army. As a Chief Warrant Officer 4, he flew as both an instructor pilot and maintenance pilot, and honorably completed two tours of duty in Vietnam, sharing his knowledge and skill with others while faithfully carrying out his duties. Beyond his military service, Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family deeply and found joy in spending time with them. He also enjoyed woodworking, working with his hands, and was known as a skilled mechanic who could fix just about anything. His faith was an important part of his life. Tom was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he served in many ways, often using his talents as maintenance director and enjoying fellowship through time spent with the men's group playing card and solving the world's problems. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Janice Rudolph; and his grandson, Brett Baxter, Jr. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jo Ann Rudolph; his daughter, Becky Baxter (Brett); his son, Fred Rudolph (Christie); his brother, Ted Rudolph (Cookie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Cole, Devon, and Kayla; and his great-grandchildren, Edwynne and Parker.
