More detail on this person: Felecien " Joe" Thibodeaux, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 22nd. He was born to Felecien and Ruby Thibodeaux on December 15, 1943 in Church Point, Louisiana. He was married to his wife, Sara for fifty-one years. Joe proudly served in the Army and in the Bexar County Sheriff's Department and he had a passion for flying helicopters. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Darren, and his beloved pet, Buffy. Joe is survived by his wife, Sara; his daughter, Felicia Lanmon; his grandchildren, Shawn Lanmon, Allayna Goble (Russell); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brayden Goble; his nephew, Clayton Strickland (Kaitlin) and his four legged daughter, Tickle. When he returned to Fort Wolters after his tour in Vietnam that he was a military flight instructor at Fort Wolters and then moved to Flight Eval and Standardization and after his military time concluded he stayed on with Southern Airways for a period of time and then flew helicopters for the Bexar County Sheriffs Office. After that he was a flight instructor for Bell Helicopters International in Isfahan, Iran. After that he worked for Houston Helicopters as Director of Training and then to Abu Dhabi Helicopters and then to Saudi Aramco where he flew helicopters for 5 years and that concluded his flying career.
