More detail on this person: Douglas "Doug" Treadwell, age 79, passed away 10/31/2025 in Cleveland, Georgia. He was born on March 4, 1946, in LaGrange, Georgia, to loving parents James and Helen Treadwell. Doug proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a life member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association, completing distinguished tours in Vietnam. During his service, he earned 48 medals of commendation, a testament to his dedication and bravery. He is survived by his youngest brother, Mike Treadwell; his half-sister, Jamie Treadwell; and his four beloved sons: Brent, Shane, Brian, and Jesse. Doug had a deep love for aviation, spending time with his family, and playing golf in beautiful weather. He especially adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
