More detail on this person: Major William Harold Waters age 94, retired United States Air Force, passed away on May 13,2025 in Waconia, Minnesota. Born August 16, 1930 to Bennie and Margaret Waters of Washington, North Carolina. Married to Patricia Gable of Willmar, Minnesota October 15, 1955. Preceded in death by his parents. Sons, Mickey and Steve Waters. Brother Ben Waters of Raleigh, North Carolina. Survived by wife, Patricia, daughter Barbara Swenson (Robert), three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and niece Kimberly Grant or Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his dedication and work for the USAF Helicopter Pilots Association. Mostly loved his family, his country and his fellow pilots. He enjoyed a good golf game, a good card game, and a good manhattan on a Saturday night! Bill always said, "A stranger was just a friend he hadn't met." Always had a joke and a smile. Memorials preferred to the donors' choice or a veterans or children's' organization.
