The first combat casualties of 7/17 (Original C Troop) will be buried at Arlington Cemetery on June 17. Warrant Officer Larry Phipps, Ranier Ramos and crew members Fred Newton and Warren Secrist were lost on jan 9, 1968 in Quang Nam Province, I Corps. They were MIA, later KIA-BNR and identifiable remains were recovered and recently identified.
