PLT APPARENTLY BECAME DISORIENTED IN NITE GROUND FOG STRUCK GROUND IN NEARLY LEVEL FLT ATTITUDE DURING ATTEMPTED TAKEOFF
War Story:
While supporting Special Forces team C-3 at Bien Hoa. Beasley was pilot. Aircraft commander was WO1 Pabst. They attempted a take off at night with low ceiling. They crashed into an old French mine field. from 1997 VHPA reunion.
