Description: While supporting operation JUNCTION CITY, B/1/16th Inf, 1st Inf Div made heavy contact at 1030 while on a search and clear mission 18 miles northeast of Tay Ninh city. The enemy launched an attack and by 1400 the fighting decreased to sniper action. A two day swept of the battlefield found 167 enemy dead.
