Operation CORONADO V
South Vietnam
Location, Cam Son Special Zone
Description: During operation CORONADO V, an armada of armored troop carriers from the Mobile Riverine Force was attacked while making a landing in the Cam Son and Ban Long Secret Zones. Helicopter gunships responded and before the day was end, over three battalions were inserted into the battle against the 514th VC battalion.
