 Description: The MAG-16 command chronology reported operations in the Chu Lai area were normal. In the Da Nang area the following aircraft were hit by enemy fire: One HMM-265 CH-46A hit at AT998463, no injuries; two VMO-2 UH-1Es were hit, one at BT043621, no injuries, one at BT0461, no injuries; one HMH-463 CH-53A hit at XD962428, no injuries; another CH-53A was hit 6 miles NE of Khe Sanh, no injuries and a HMM-363 UH-34D was hit at AT915550, no injuries. MAG-16 units conducted emergency extraction of recon team "Rummage" at AT998463 dues to medevacs sustained by the team.
