Location, Song Be
Description: A part of a second wave of Tet attacks, the 211th and 212th VC Infiltration Groups captured the western portion of the city. The 31st ARVN Ranger Bn assisted by the 2/17th Air Cav and the 1/506th Inf defeated the VC in acrid combat fought block by block through the town. Song Be was practically destroyed in the process.
